OLYMPIAD EXAMINATION
Olympiad examinations at school level are competitive examination, based on the school syllabus, which are conducted through various independent organizations. Competition is a healthy concept. Competition helps a student to strive for better. It creates a feeling of excitement. Olympiad Examinations help to identify a child’s capability and real potential that may help him survive better in today’s modern competitive world. They motivate students to endeavor for better and understanding of scientific facts so as to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. Students from classes III to VII participated in IEO and NSO. All the successful students were awarded medals. The lists of the Awardees for IEO and NSO are below :- IEO – Shagun Bhati (III-A), Tarush Singh (V-A), Archita Sharma (VI-B), Anushka Sharma (VII-A) won Gold Medal, Avni Tomar (III-B) won Silver Medal Dhwani Rawat (III-B) won Broze Medal. NSO – Harsh Abhijit (III B), Yashi Yadav (IV B), Shivani Kachroo (V A), and Mansha Khurana (VI-A) won Gold Medal. Aditya Bhardwaj (III-B), Utsav Raj ( IV-A), Mayank Chaudhary ( V-A) won Silver Medal. Avni Tomar (III-B), Maanasvi Maan (IV-B), and Anshul Shukla (V-A) won Bronze Medal. IMO – Aditya Raj Mathur, Surabhi Tiwari, won Gold Medal. Utsav Raj, Mayank Chaudhary, Samyak Agrawal, won Silver Medal. Aditi Anand, Tanishk Yadav won Bronze Medal. Harsh Abhijit and Shagun Bhati got Medal of Distinction. Inter Skating Championship
Roller skating strengthens the heart and bones, relieves tress, lowers blood glucose level, and improves cholesterol level. It helps to build strength, especially in the muscles of the lower body. 4th Ghaziabad Open Inter-School Roller Sports Championship 2018, was organized by Distt. Roller sports association on 22nd December, 2018 (Saturday) at Lionz Sports Club, Crossing Republik, Ghaziabad. Our school students participated with full enthusiasm and energy. Kayaan Sisodia of class II –A won 1Gold and 1 Silver medal in Inline Skates (3lap & 5lap). Virat Singh Tomar VI-A won 2 Silver medal in Inline Skates (3lap & 5lap). Mansha Khurana of VI- A won 1 Gold & 1 Silver in Adjustable Skates (2lap & 3lap). Saanvi Khurana, IV-A won 2 Bronze in Adjustable Skates (2lap & 3 lap) and Twesha Agarwal of II-A won 1 Gold medal in Adjustable Skates (2lap & 3lap). Congratulations to all of them.
British Council International Award
The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits school for OUTSTANDING DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION IN THE CURRICULUM as having an outstanding level of support for – Nurturing Global Citizenship in students. Our school was awarded with ISA (International School Award) for the year 2018-21. The award ceremony was held on 5th December 2018 in Delhi and our respected Principal Sir received the award on behalf of the school.
Debate Competition
Our students (abhilasha from class v, aditya raj and arnav singh from vi – b) participated in an interschool debate competition (behas 2018) held at sarvottam international school on 16th and 17th november 2018. They had performed tremendously well and got selected for national level debate. Arav singh from class vi – b got a medal for best standing speaker and was ranked on 34th position among the 132 debators.
Inter House Football Match
Watching a football match is always an excitement and thrilling experience. SKS World School had its Inter House Football Match. Four houses (Aravali, Satpura, Shivalik & Nilgiri) battled it out on the field. Aravali House was the winner and Nilgiri House was the runner up. Our school students participated with full enthusiasm and energy. Kayaan Sisodia of class II –A won 1Gold and 1 Silver medal in Inline Skates (3lap & 5lap). CAMEL ART CONTEST
The Camel Art Contest (CAC) has emerged to be the largest art competition in the world and has the honor of being in the “Guinness World Records.”
SKS World School also became a part of this contest. On 31st October 2018 Camel Art Contest activity was conducted in school premises. Our Students had shown their artistic talent and begged prizes in almost all levels. They are a Best School in Ghaziabad,Noida
Aarav, Manasvi Singh and Arnav Sharma of mont. Section was the winner in Group A.
Urshita of class 1st, Prassanna and Oviyah of class II were the winner in Group B. Rishit Tiwari, Yashpreet Kaur, Isha Divedi of class IV were the winner in Group C. SuryanshSuman, Aditya Raj and Sarthak Gupta were winner in Group D. Ritika Chauhan, Simran Rani and Uditi Malhotra was the winner in Group E.

K.R. Manglam
SKS World School believes in boosting the confidence of students by recognising their exceptional talents and achievements. Every event in our school is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and capabilities and learn new skills. A number of inter school competitions were held and students gave their best. ENCHANTE’ 2018 “ENCHANTE” an inter school event was hosted in K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Noida. There were two competitions held: (a) In Pot Pourrie of Fairy Tales Competition, our school secured the second position. Students those who won the prizes were: Abhilasha, Tarush Singh, Ayush Bhardwaj and Yashwini Singh of classes IV and V. (b) In Cooking Stories, the second position was bagged by our school students (Sara Choudhary, Angel, Surbhi, Yashpreet of classes III and IV) and make us proud.
Hillswood – Eco Seminar
“ECO SEMINAR” (an inter school event) was hosted in Hillwoods Academy, Greater Noida. The school organised two competitions: (a) In Poem Recitation competition, second position was grabbed by class nursery and prep students. Saanvi Vats, Riyansh Goel, Prathma, Manasvi Puri, Ritisha Dhiman, Bhavya Khare and Drishti Patwal were there in the winner team. (b) In Stone Painting competition, Mannat from class 3 secured second position and made us proud. We appreciated the marvellous performance given by the students.
