INTER SCHOOL MULTI SPORTS MEET 2019
Our school participated in Inter School Multi Sports meet which was held on 23rd October, 2019 at Ramagya School, Dadri. The beginning of the sports meet started with the introduction of all the schools. More than 18 schools participated in different sports competition. The ultimate glory of the institution raised by achieving number of medals in Skating, Football, Badminton & Athletics.

Inter School Competition
The students of SKS World School; achieved the Pinnacle of success by achieving prizes on various fields in the Inter School competition conducted at Hillwoods Academy on 19th October 2019. The competition revealed the talent of the young achievers as they showcased their flair in different events like Vegetable Painting, Thread Painting, On the Spot Drawing/Painting, Create Science Magazine, Turtle Robots, Crossword and Excel with Math.
The students added an honour to the school by attaining many positions in the different events which is:
- Poorva Shukla and Aditya Raj Mathur secured the 3rd Position in Excel with Math.
- Suryansh Suman received the first prize in On the Spot Painting.
- Princy Mishra and Anushka Sharma got 2nd prize in create science magazine.
- Rhythm Shrivastava Secured second position in Vegetable Painting.
- Harsh Abhijit and Harshit got the 3rd prize in Turtle Robots.
- Pratyush Singh secured the 1st position in Crossword.
The school management congratulated the students on their achievements.
Inter House Taekwondo Competition
Taekwondo requires a lot of skill and precision, create perfection and perfect techniques are required to master this form of sport. In SKS World School, the students are provided training of taekwondo from the initial years so that they can acquire the required skill and techniques.
Thus these young enthusiastic martial artists were given an excellent opportunity to exhibit their talent as an Inter House Taekwondo competition (Boys and Girls) was organizes for category 3 to 4 age and 5 to 9 age group. The competition was very well organized and the house spirit was very clearly evident as the students could be seen cheering and motivating the participants of their respective houses. The winners were awarded under various categories.

Science SymposiumSKS World School participated in the Science Symposium in Aster Public School on 7th August 2019. The topic on which the student had to prepare was Global Positioning System (GPS). The students with much enthusiasm and vigour participated and added one more feather to the crown of the school, by securing the First Position. Students of class 6th, 7th and 8th retained the pride of the school, under the skillful leadership of Ms. Neelam Prakash. The name of participants are: Arpit Sharma – Class 6 Mansa Khurana – Class 7 Simran Rani – Class 8. We look forward to such similar success in future elevating the position of our school to a much higher level.
Inter House Science Quiz
An Inter House Science quiz competition was held on Friday 26th July 2019 at SKS World School. The quiz was held in the school auditorium. The event was graced with the presence of principal ma’am Mrs. Renu Kumar and Headmistress Mrs. Alpna Srivastava.
This quiz competition aims to nurture and develop a love for science in students.
Students from 3rd to 5th participated in the competition. The four houses were given the name of Scientists – Team Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Team Issac Newton, Team Albert Einstein & Team C.V. Raman.
There were six participants in each team. The science quiz competition had four rounds,
Round 1- Mixed bag round
Round 2- Riddle round
Round 3- Rapid fire round
Round 4-Visual Round.
Students enthusiastically took part in all four rounds. The four interesting round tested every aspect of their knowledge in the science field. The Rapid fire round left amazed as all the participant questions in quick succession. Satpura House emerged as the winner team.
It was truly an enriching experience for the students.
Heritage Quiz Competition
SKS world school organized ‘Heritage Quiz Competition – 2019’ on 26th July with an aim to raise awareness among the students about conservation and management of heritage of India and to sensitize them about its rich cultural diversity. The competition was conducted for classes VI to VIII.
Four houses (Aravali, Nilgiri, Satpura, shivalik) participated with four participants from each house. The quiz started with warm up round consisting of verbal questions. Next came up the visual round. In this round, students were to identify the pictures of various heritage monuments displayed on screen. The last round was rapid fire round which enthralled the audience.
Points were awarded for each correct answer. Bonus points were also awarded for run over questions. The last part of the competition became more exciting as it ended in a tie between Nilgiri and Satpura houses. This was followed by an extra tie-breaker question which decided the runner up team. Shivalik house claimed the first position.
In between different rounds there were few questions for audience to keep their interest alive and make them a part of the activity. In the closely contested rounds all the participants displayed their awareness about the heritages of India. Result was declared after the mind boggling session of tie-breaker round. All the active competitors were loudly cheered and supported by their Co-House members.

It was an immensely proud moment for SKS World School when Shagun Bhati of class IV-B brought home a Gold Medal for IEO (International English Olympiad), Medal of Distinction and Certificate of Distinction in IMO (International Maths Olympiad), NSO (National Science Olympiad) and NCO (National Cyber Olympiad).
The student participated with zeal and enthusiasm and made their alma mater proud by winning the coveted medals. SKS World School wishes her success in all her future endeavors.

District Level Taekwondo Championship
1st District Level Taekwondo Competition was held on 4th May 2019, (Saturday) at St. Teresa School, Indirapuram. Students participated in a sportive spirit with a great zeal. They wonderfully showcased the basics concerned about the sport -Buiding fitness, learning respect, practising self-discipline, engaging in self defense and increasing concentration.
Our students participated with full enthusiasm and energy. Shivansh Sharma & Avni Tomar won Gold Medal, Dhanvi won Silver Medal. Aarav Chaudhary, Shagun Indoria, Sourabh Shaun, Vansh, Aastha Bhardwaj and Rishit Pandey won Bronze Medal. Congratulations to all of them.
Inter-School Football ChampionshipChampionship
SKS World School students participated in Inter-School Football Championship 2019. It was organized by Yadu Public School Noida on 7th May 2019, (Tuesday).
Our students Raghav Talvar (Captain), Anas Ibani Imtiyaz, Arnav Singh, Abinav Singh, Shaurya Pratap Singh, Harshit, Harsh Gupta, Naman Kumar, and Anant Raj participated with full enthusiasm and energy. They performed well and won Medal.
SKS World School conducted the felicitation ceremony on 10th May 2019, (Friday).
Principal Ms Renu Kumar and HM Ms Alpana Srivastava felicitated the students who excelled and achieved wonderful results in the “Book Review” and “Book Quiz”.
Felicitation for Slogan Making
SKS World School conducted the felicitation ceremony on behalf of Earth Day for students on 26th April 2019 (Friday). It showed their excellence in Slogan making and painting/poster making competition. Honorable Principal Ma’am felicitated the students with certificates and encouraged for more participation.
We will build the city from scratch. It will be drone – friendly and a center for the development of robotics. We want to create something different. Neom is a place for dreamers who want to create something new in the world, something extraordinary.
‘Winter Robotics’ Interschool Robotics Competition was organized in Sheoran International School on 19th and 20th January, 2019.

OLYMPIAD EXAMINATIONOlympiad examinations at school level are competitive examination, based on the school syllabus, which are conducted through various independent organizations. Competition is a healthy concept. Competition helps a student to strive for better. It creates a feeling of excitement. Olympiad Examinations help to identify a child’s capability and real potential that may help him survive better in today’s modern competitive world. They motivate students to endeavor for better and understanding of scientific facts so as to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. Inter Skating ChampionshipRoller skating strengthens the heart and bones, relieves tress, lowers blood glucose level, and improves cholesterol level. It helps to build strength, especially in the muscles of the lower body. 4th Ghaziabad Open Inter-School Roller Sports Championship 2018, was organized by Distt. Roller sports association on 22nd December, 2018 (Saturday) at Lionz Sports Club, Crossing Republik, Ghaziabad. Our school students participated with full enthusiasm and energy. British Council International AwardThe British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits school for OUTSTANDING DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION IN THE CURRICULUM as having an outstanding level of support for – Nurturing Global Citizenship in students. Our school was awarded with ISA (International School Award) for the year 2018-21. The award ceremony was held on 5th December 2018 in Delhi and our respected Principal Sir received the award on behalf of the school.
Debate CompetitionOur students (abhilasha from class v, aditya raj and arnav singh from vi – b) participated in an interschool debate competition (behas 2018) held at sarvottam international school on 16th and 17th november 2018. They had performed tremendously well and got selected for national level debate. Arav singh from class vi – b got a medal for best standing speaker and was ranked on 34th position among the 132 debators.
Inter House Football MatchWatching a football match is always an excitement and thrilling experience. SKS World School had its Inter House Football Match. Four houses (Aravali, Satpura, Shivalik & Nilgiri) battled it out on the field. Aravali House was the winner and Nilgiri House was the runner up. CAMEL ART CONTEST
The Camel Art Contest (CAC) has emerged to be the largest art competition in the world and has the honor of being in the “Guinness World Records.”
SKS World School also became a part of this contest. On 31st October 2018 Camel Art Contest activity was conducted in school premises. Our Students had shown their artistic talent and begged prizes in almost all levels. They are a Best School in Ghaziabad,Noida
Aarav, Manasvi Singh and Arnav Sharma of mont. Section was the winner in Group A.
Urshita of class 1st, Prassanna and Oviyah of class II were the winner in Group B. Rishit Tiwari, Yashpreet Kaur, Isha Divedi of class IV were the winner in Group C. SuryanshSuman, Aditya Raj and Sarthak Gupta were winner in Group D. Ritika Chauhan, Simran Rani and Uditi Malhotra was the winner in Group E.
