Independence Day Celebration
SKS World School celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with great patriotic fervour. This annual observance has a great significance and this special day is celebrated for commemorating our brave leaders and fighters of history who won us the freedom we are enjoying today.
The entire school was decorated with various works of art.
Principal, Mrs. Renu Kumar, unfurled the tricolour flag followed by an upbeat march past consisting of a number of students.
On this patriotic occasion, our students showcased a colorful spectacle of India’s vision. The blooming citizens of classes Nursery and KG were the ones whose zeal and zest made the program a success. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the student-teachers of SKS through a spectrum of patriotic songs, speeches, skit on freedom fighters, songs and dance.
The students dressed up as freedom fighters, staged an awe inspiring play, in order to pay homage and tribute to the treasured stars of our nation.
Committed to the task of nation building, both faculty and student teachers at SKS pledged to serve their motherland through spreading education and serving the community. The program ended with the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere laced with patriotic undertones.
