4 th Annual Day Celebration 2019-20

A rainbow of colours unfurled on the stage as ‘SKS World School’ celebrated its 4 th Annual Day amidst with great zest, vibrancy and elation. The evening was reserved for a gala presentation. Shri Satish Gautam (Member of Parliament) was the esteemed ‘Chief Guest’. The galaxy of dignitaries like Shri Tejpal Singh (MLA Dadri) and an eminent Industrialist and Builder Shri Deepak Gautam, graced the occasion as the ‘Guests of Honour’. The Chairman Shri S.K. Sharma, Secretary Mr Mayank Gautam and Principal Ms Renu Kumar welcomed the eminent guests and honoured them.

The Annual Report was presented by the Principal Ms. Renu Kumar who highlighted the school’s achievements in academic, sports and co-curricular activities. Cultural programmes by students this year revolved around the
theme ‘Around the World’. Dance performances from different countries were a soul stirring depiction of rich, radiant and vibrant culture around the world.

Overall, the celebration was a grand success and concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey towards success.

3rd Annual Function Celebration at SKS World School

SKS World School celebrated its 3 rd Annual day with vibrancy. The Annual Day of SKS World School is a moment of celebration where each and every child gets an opportunity to participate on the stage. It is a joyous occasion, which we all look forward to. For teachers it is a great opportunity, to showcase the talents they have nurtured in the children, and for the parents it is a matter of great pride to watch them on stage.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp lending the occasion a ceremonious aura which was followed by the rendition of Ganesh Vandana by the school choir, thereby invoking the blessings of the lord of Wisdom.

Montessori presentations showcasing fairy tale, by fairy skit and fairy dance created the visual feast for the audience as it displayed the innocence and joyfulness of childhood.

Students presented different skits like Earth is beautiful, Beauty learns a lesson and revolution to give beautiful messages .The play also had musical elements to bring symphony and melody into life.

Pique of the day was the Prize Distribution Ceremony during which the meritorious students were felicitated for their hard work, dedication & for setting high standards of achievements in both scholastics and co-scholastic activities. Students who won laurels at the various international and national level competitions during the present academic session 2018 – 2019 were also feted. 

The evening witnessed a colorful array of dances and musical acts. Chairman Shri S.K. Sharma applauded the efforts of students and teachers.
Mr.Mayank Gautam (Vice Chairman) addressed the gathering with his inspiring speech.

Vice Principal briefed the audience with the vision of the institution and intercultural learning programme and highlighting the academic achievements of the school students.

The day culminated with the presentation of the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem leaving the audience with a lovely resonance lasting in their minds. The entire programme was applauded by all.

Annual Day forms an integral part of school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honors for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. SKS World School celebrated its 2nd Annual Day on 18th Feb, 2018 amidst great zest, vibrancy. The event was graced by the presence of Honorable Minister Shri Shiv Partap Shukla ji (MOS Finance) as the Chief Guest of the event. The other dignitaries present were Shri Pramod Kumar Ji (Commissioner IT Gzbd); Mr. Karan Singh Tyagi ji (Manager GNIDA) ; Shri Anil Sharma (RSS Director) ; Shri G.B. Sharma (Hon’ble District Judge). The guest were cordially welcomed by the School Chairman- Shri S.K Sharma , Vice Chairman Shri Mayank Gautam along with the Principal mam. The programme commenced with the Ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by various cultural items depicting cultural heritage & glory of India. The Principal Mrs. Indu Sharma in her welcome address extended warm welcome to the August gathering and apprised the parents & guest about the achievements of the school in various spheres. Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted to acknowledge the efforts of handworking & outstanding students in both scholastic & co-scholastic areas. The highlight of the event was the Dance Drama “Kabuliwala”by Gurudev Rabinder Nath Tagore enacted by the students from Classes (Nur-V) .The stupendous performance by the young SKSites left the audiences spell bound. Other performances that fascinated the audiences included a soul stirring melody and scintillating dance performances depicting various parts of India. The tiny tots of SKS World School mesmerized the audiences with lovely performances on “Mowgli Song”. The Grand finale performance – Ekla Chalo Re. actes as very appropriate tribute to Gurudev Rabinder Nath Tagore.
