SKS World School actively participated in the traditional Hindu Festival, Rakshabandhan with an aim to inculcare the feeling of fellowship in the mind of the students. It aimed to ease various social strains among the students, opening up the channels of expression among them, simultaneously giving the students an opportunity to work on our roles as human being keeping this viewpoint the school chose the Montessori section, to take a lead part in it as the feeling of love, care, fellowship and unity must develop in a child from his/her Primary age. Through this festival, the children revealed the bond of love and respect one must have for each other. They tied the sacred knot with the notion to serve as a protection for each other where no evil force could penetrate. The festival ended with a promise that we all are equal, with an aim to preserve our sacred humanity by over loyalty, trust and care for each other.
