The students of SKS World School participated enthusiastically in a rally on ‘Environmental Conservation’ in ‘Winter Carnival 2020’, held by Greater Noida Development Authority. The annual event, which has “Smart and Happy Greater Noida” as its theme, included cultural programmes and other events to create awareness on the need of protecting the environment for our sustainable future. In this rally our students made people aware about environmental issues and solutions by performing a street play. The students carried placards and banners, which highlighted the consequences of environment degradation. Slogans like ‘Save Environment, Save Lives’ and ‘Baccho Ko Do Pahli Shiksha, Paryavaran ki Kare Raksha’ were chanted by the students to make people aware about their duties towards environment. Students also gave a very powerful message to not to cut down the trees and emphasised the need of more tree plantation to protect our environment.
