On the beautiful morning of Saturday, 14th September 2019, Grandparents’ Day was celebrated at the school Auditorium by the pre- primary wing of the SKS World School, Greater Noida (West).
The celebration of Grandparents’ Day was aimed at acknowledging the contribution of the grandparents in nurturing their grandchildren.
The programme began with the auspicious’ Lighting of theLamp’by our grandparents and the principal of our school.The Day was marked by a dance performance by our little champs of nursery and prep followed by games and refreshments.
The programme was enlightened by many power packed dance performances of the grandparent. The icing on the cake was the Ramp Walk performed by grandparents with their tiny tots which showcased the special bond they share. Grandparents shared some mesmerizing moments and relived their childhood with the grandchildren. The teachers madeCards for lovely grandparents and gifted a token of love in the form of story books. The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles and teary eyes of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them.
